He hasn’t slowed
down since: a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
inductee, Santana has sold more than 90
million records and performed to over 100
million fans globally. He’s won ten
GRAMMY®s, including a record-tying nine
for a single project for 1999’s 25X
platinum-plus Supernatural, including Album
of the Year and Record of the Year for “Smooth.”
Santana’s most recent GRAMMY was for
“The Game Of Love” from 2001’s
Shaman, and among many other awards, he’s
also won three Latin GRAMMYs and the Latin
Recording Academy’s 2004 “Person
of the Year” honor.
Santana’s 38th and
latest album, 2005’s All That I Am,
is his third for Arista in partnership with
music legend Clive Davis. Continuing Carlos’
tradition of Santana Band tours de force
mixed with collaborations with a diverse
mix of fellow stars, the album includes
vibrant tracks featuring Santana Band vocalist
Andy Vargas as well as dazzling musical
interplay with Steven Tyler, Mary J. Blige,
Michelle Branch, Sean Paul, Big Boi, Joss
Stone, Los Lonely Boys, Bo Bice, Anthony
Hamilton, Kirk Hammett and more. |
